Behavioral Health Program Manager
Purpose of Job
Improve the overall health of the communities we serve by managing the Integrated Behavioral Health Program of CHAS as follows:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall growth & development of the Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) Program.
- Collaborates with primary care providers, behavioral health providers, and other services and professionals at CHAS in order to meet the needs of the target population.
- Ensures Program compliance with applicable local, state, and federal guidelines and IBH licensing requirements.
- Maintains a cooperative relationship among CHAS Health care team and outside agencies by building rapport, communicating information, responding to requests and participating in team problem-solving methods related to IBH.
- Develops and maintain accurate written protocols for behavioral health provider duties.
- Conducts regular IBH staff meetings to communicate policies and procedures, share best practices, and enable staff collaboration.
- Participates in developing and implementing quality improvement activities and performance metrics to promote continuous improvement in IBH practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience & Education: Prefer 3-5 years of health care experience serving the underserved as well as people in need of behavioral health services. Management/supervisory experience is strongly desirable. Prefer a graduate degree in a relevant field. Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.

Other Skills: Knowledge of available community linkage resources. Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills required. Must work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Must be detail oriented and able to carry out duties with minimal supervision. Must possess strong communications and organizational skills.

Physical Demands
Required to stand, sit and be mobile one-third to two-thirds of the time. Required to use hands to finger, handle or feel over two-thirds of the time; while reaching with hands and arms occurs one-third of the day. Climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling or crouching occurs less than one-third of the time. Communicating occurs constantly throughout the day. Lifting occurs about half the time up to 10 lbs and less than one-third of the day from 25-40 lbs. Rarely is there a need to lift more than 41 lbs.
