Chelan County Court Administrator
Under the direction of the elected District Court Judges, the Court Administrator manages and administers all non-judicial functions of the Chelan County District Court, including budget, accounting, personnel management, compliance with statutory requirements, records, case flow, data processing; serves as court liaison with other county personnel and outside agencies; and administers court policies and procedures. The position requires extensive knowledge of public contact, independent judgment, organizational skills, strong leadership and team building skills, problem resolution skills applied in a highly visible environment, and a confidential working relationship with the District Court Judges.
A successful applicant must possess a combination of training and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities for this position, including the knowledge of administrative principles and practices, and a full understanding of the functions, organization, and processes of a court and the judicial system. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Judicial Administration, Public Administration, Business Administration or a closely related field; and three years of experience in a professional management position in the criminal justice system; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
