We have combined two major roles to continue to set ourselves a part in the field - we are seeking a knowledgeable and groundbreaking IT professional who is up for the role of Director, Infrastructure Services & Information Security.

Here's just a bit on the job:

You will lead enterprise-wide system management and data security compliance for Kootenai Health and possibly other business affiliates. You will be responsible for system management of data/voice networks, servers, desktop services, helpdesk, and/or communication systems, including Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems. You will exercise your leadership and expertise to establish back-up protocols and monitors site security. You work to ensure data security policies and standards are followed in accordance with federalstate lawsregulations. This role requires you to identify, analyze, and document long-range requirements and schedule resources related to the enterprise network, IS projects and data security. Your job is a critical one that will enable you to grow and strengthen the core of the organization. Minimum Qualifications:

1.         Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Information Technology, Computer Science or related required.
2.         Master's degree IT or CS or Data SecurityAssurance preferred.
3.         Minimum 8 years' work experience in IT networks and/or security systems required.
4.         CISSP preferred.
5.         Detailed familiarity with HIPAA, HITECH, and other rules and regulations surrounding the IT Security Community and hospitals.
6.         Be able to clearly articulate a fiscally responsible vision that delivers a future state of IT security that significantly mitigates risk.
7.         Advanced level knowledge of network security including technologies such as VPN, URL filtering, firewalls, antivirus/anti malware systems, network forensics.
8.         Minimum of 4 years' experience in supplier and staff management
9.         Healthcare experience preferred.
