Kootenai Health is currently seeking experienced, compassionate Labor and Delivery Nurses with a desire to assist mothers to give birth safely and successfully.

If that sounds like you, please apply to our Labor and Delivery Pipeline position.  The Labor and Delivery pipeline maintains an opening for qualified applicants to apply to and moves them into available positions as they come available.

About the Family Birthing Center
Comprised of labor and delivery, post-partum and a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), the unit was designed to provide a calm, private experience for new families. The design features more nurses' stations and private rooms to help maintain a quiet, restful atmosphere.
Kootenai is one of only about 300 Baby-Friendly hospitals in the nation. This designation represents the highest standard of care for mothers and babies. A dedication to improving infant health through breastfeeding and other maternal-infant care practices in every department of the hospital helped Kootenai earn this distinction.
Expectant mothers and fathers receive education and encouragement by physicians, nurses, and staff before, during and after childbirth. The highest quality medical care is provided in a supportive, comfortable and safe environment.
